Nikita A. Kolesnikov, Post-graduate student at the Tomsk National Research Medical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences at the Research Institute of Medical Genetics at the laboratory of Evolutionary Genetics.

Junior Researcher at the Tomsk National Research Medical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences at the Research Institute of Medical Genetics at the Laboratory of genomics of orphan diseases.

Brief Biography

In 2017 Nikita A. Kolesnikov graduated from the Biological Institute of Tomsk State University. In the same year he was accepted into full-time postgraduate study of Tomsk National Research Medical Center.

Research Interests

The main research interests include studies in the field of population genetics, evolutionary genetics and DNA-identification. His current research focuses on the study the genetic structure of indigenous populations in Siberia on the basis of an analysis of identical by descent (IBD) and runs of homozygosity (ROH).
