Since 1986 she works at Mental Health Research Institute.

In 1994 Lobacheva O.A. defended her PhD thesis “State of the immunity system in hard-to-cur schizophrenic patients under complex psychopharmacotherapy with inclusion of timogen” and in 2011 – MD thesis “Clinical-immunological patterns of adaptation of schizophrenic pateints” (specialties: 14.01.06 – “psychiatry”; 14.03.03 – “pathological physiology”).

Since 1994 – researcher of the Laboratory of Immunobiology

Since 2000 – senior researcher of the Laboratory of Clinical and Ecological Immunology

Since 2012 – leading researcher of the Laboratory of Clinical Psychoneuroimmunology and Neurobiology

Since 2017 – member of the Academic Council of Mental Health Research Institute of Tomsk NRMC

Area of scientific and clinical interests

Issues of clinical picture and therapy of schizophrenia, psychoneuroimmunology, clinical psychopharmacology, pathophysiology, immune system

She is author and co-author of more than 150 publications including two monographs “Technology of immunocorrection” and “Immunity system and psychological defense in mechanisms of psychoemotional stress”, 5 medical technologies, 3 guidelines and guidebooks for physicians. She has 7 Russian patents for innovations.

Main direction of scientific research:

Study of psychoneuroimmune mechanisms of formation of compensatory-adaptive behavior of schizophrenic pateints; development of new approaches to therapy of endogenous psychoses based on revealed disturbances of neuroimmune interaction; study of the contribution of immunobiological factors into mechanisms of formation of resistance to psychopharmacotherapy and immunotropic effects of antipsychotics, detection of clinical-biological predictors of prognosis of course and efficiency of psychopharmacotherapy, development of evidence-based approaches to person-centered therapy of pateints with mental disorders based on clinical-biological criteria.
