Vita
Valentina Fedorovna graduated in 1982 from Faculty of Medicine, Tomsk State Medical Institute. From 1982 to 1986 she worked as a psychiatrist; from 1987 to 1991 the head of the department; in the period from 1992 to 2011, the deputy chief physician for medical work. From 2012 to the present, she is the chief physician of the clinic of the Mental Health Research Institute. In 2007 she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation.
Area of scientific and clinical interests
The main scientific interests of V.F. Lebedeva refers to the study of the prevalence of mental disorders in the general medical network, the study of innovative organizational forms of psychiatric care and personalized therapy with the main forms of mental pathology. V.F. Lebedeva is the author of more than 120 published works, including the monograph "Mental disorders in somatic diseases."
Achievements, Awards
Member of the Academic Council of the Federal State Budget Scientific Institution "Tomsk National Research Medical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences." Member of the Board of the Russian Society of Psychiatrists. She is a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. She takes an active part in organizing and conducting international and Russian conferences, educational seminars in the Siberian region.
For high performance in work, she was awarded the badge "Excellence in Health Care", the jubilee medal "400 years of Tomsk," the diploma of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences; since 2012, she has been an Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation.
