Brief Biography

Natalia Vladimirovna Kruglova (Masnaya) has graduated from the medical and biological faculty of the Tomsk State Medical Institute in 1996 with a degree in biochemistry and obtained the qualification of a biochemist doctor. Then she entered on the full-time in the graduate school of the Siberian State Medical University in the Department of Pathological Physiology. In 1998 she defended her thesis on the topic "The reactions of the immune system in remote periods after the introduction of cytotoxic drugs" and was awarded the degree of candidate of medical sciences. From 1998 to January 2016 she was working in the laboratory of immunopharmacology of the NIIF SB RAMS. In 2005 she defended her thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences on the theme "The reactions of the immune and hematopoietic systems in mice of different lines after antigenic and cytostatic effects" in the specialty 14.00.16. — Pathological physiology. Since 2005, she has been working as a leading researcher. She was investigating the topic “Search, development and study of the immunotropic effect of preparations from plants of Siberia and the Far East”. Since 2010, she has been working as the Chairman of the Quality Assurance Service at the Research Institute of Pharmacology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. Since 2013, she has conducted research within the framework of the project of the Research and Education Center “Pharmacy and Pharmacology”: “An experimental study of the mechanisms of the immunotropic action of polyphenolic and polysaccharide complexes that affect the immune system, and the development of methods for their standardization”.
From 2016 to the present she works the Leading Researcher of the Department of Drug Toxicology of the Goldberg Research Institute of Pharmacology and Regenerative Medicine. Since 2016 - Leading expert of the Scientific and Organizational Department of Goldberg NIIFiRM of Tomsk NIMTS. Kruglova N.V. is the member of the approbation commission at the dissertation council of the Institute of Goldberg Research Institute of Pharmacology and Regenerative Medicine. She is the Member of the Scientific Council of the Goldberg NIIFiRM of the Tomsk NIMTS. Since 2011 - Expert from the Technology platform "Medicine of the Future" on projects submitted by the Federal Target Program; of the federal target program “Development of the medical and pharmaceutical industry of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2020 and beyond” on event 2.5 “Preclinical studies of innovative medicines”. In 2016, she was participating in the development of the Development Program of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Tomsk National Research Medical Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences”. Since 2017 - Secretary of the Expert Commission of the Goldberg NIIFiRM of the Tomsk NIMTS. The Expert Commission is regarded materials prepared for open publication. From March 2018, Kruglova N.V. appointed responsible for the implementation of the RID and Vice-Chairman of the Expert Commission on Intellectual Property Management of the Goldberg NIIFiRM of the Tomsk NIMTS.

Research Interests

N.V. Kruglova (Masnaya) studied the topics “Features of the response of the immune and hematopoietic systems to antigenic effects in mice of different lines after the introduction of anticancer drugs and the correction of the immunodeficiency state caused by cytotoxic drugs”, " Stem cell: isolation methods, functional activity, pharmacological regulation, participation in regeneration tissues (heart, liver, hematopoietic tissue, pancreas, brain, skin), "Preclinical study of the drug based on immobilized interferon for the treatment of enterovirus infection", "Search, development and study of the immunotropic effect of drugs from plants of Siberia and the Far East", "Experimental study of the mechanisms of the immunotropic action of polyphenolic and polysaccharide complexes that affect the immune system, and the development of methods for their standardization". Kruglova N.V. is a qualified specialist in modern methods of experimental research in the field of immunopharmacology, hematology, and pathophysiology.
N.V. Kruglova (Masnaya) is the author of 116 publications, 11 patents of the Russian Federation for inventions.
Achievements, awards, grants
The main areas of research are: the study of the immune system in healthy animals of different lines and species and during cytostatic immunosuppression in the early and long-term periods and after immobilization stress; the study of the mechanisms of regulation of the immune response in the development of the pathological process in animals with different genotypes and its pharmacological correction; the experimental study of the mechanisms of immunotropic action of polyphenolic and polysaccharide complexes that affect the immune system, and the development of methods for their standardization. She is the Specialist in the section "Rules for conducting preclinical studies of medicinal products in accordance with international standards - GLP"; “Quality Assurance for GLP Research”; "Preparation of test centers for compliance with the principles of good laboratory practice."
N.V. Kruglova (Masnaya) has a Certificate of Merit of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2015).
Materials of the dissertations and the scientific researchers were presented at the International and Russian congresses, at the regional conferences. N.V. Kruglova (Masnaya) is the grant holder in the field of Medicine and Interdisciplinary areas of knowledge of the Charitable Foundation for the Promotion of Domestic Medicine “Features of the response of the immune and hematopoietic systems to antigenic in mice of different lines after the introduction of anticancer drugs and correction of the immunodeficiency state” (2004); grant of the President of the Russian Federation to support young Russian scientists "Fundamental aspects of the mechanisms of regulation of the immune response in the development of the pathological process in animals with different genotypes and pharmacological correction" MK-1689.2004.7, Federal Agency for Science and Innovations (2004). She participated in the Grant of the President of the Russian Federation to support the leading scientific schools of the Russian Federation No. NS-275.2008.7 (2008-2009): Stem cell: isolation methods, functional activity, pharmacological regulation, participation in tissue regeneration (heart, liver, hematopoietic tissue , pancreas, brain, skin). She was Co-executive on state Contract No. 16.N08.12.1017 of 14.05.2012 "Preclinical study of the drug based on immobilized interferon for the treatment of enterovirus infection". She participated in the preparation for the exhibition Zdrav 2016, Tomsk. Kruglova N.V. was participating in the organization of the II All-Russian Scientific Conference "Modern drug toxicology: fundamental and applied aspects" June 13-15, 2017, Tomsk. Kruglova N.V. was a co-executor the grant "Organization and holding of conferences and scientific events in Russia", 2017 (17-04-20222 \ 17). N.V. Kruglova is a co-organizer of the All-Russian Scientific Conference "Pathophysiology and pharmacology of the blood system" dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Goldberg NIIFIRM.
