In 2003, Ksenia Alexandrovna graduated with honors from the Biomedical Faculty of the Siberian State Medical University (Tomsk) with a degree in biochemistry. In 2004 she entered the postgraduate full-time Goldberg’s Institute of Pharmacology and Regenerative Medicine, in 2007 she defended her thesis on "Water-soluble polysaccharides of Siberian plants in the complex therapy of transplantable tumors" and received a degree in the specialties of Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology and Oncology. From 2007 to the present, Ksenia Alexandrovna works in the Oncopharmacology Laboratory of the Goldberg’s Institute of Pharmacology and Regenerative Medicine as a research assistant.
Research Interests
Lopatina K.A. He is the author of more than 60 publications, including 1 monograph. The research interest of Ksenia Alexandrovna is to study the possibility of using drugs of natural origin and biologically active substances isolated from them in the complex therapy of tumors, determining their role in the mechanisms for correcting the antitumor and toxic effects of cytostatics and in increasing the antitumor resistance of the organism.
Achievements, awards, and grants
Lopatina K.A. He is the winner of the Tomsk Region Prize in the field of education, science, health care and culture (2012). As a co-executor, she participated in the implementation, on the rights of co-authorship, of the grants of the Federal Program “Development of the pharmaceutical and medical industry of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2020 and beyond” and the State Contract with the Federal Agency for Science and Innovations of the Russian Federation (2009, 2012).
