In 1999, Evgenia Trofimova graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Biology of the Siberian State Medical University with a degree in biophysics. All of Evgenia work activity is connected with the Research Institute of Pharmacology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, where she began working immediately as a junior research assistant after graduating from the University. In 2002, Evgenia defended her thesis in the specialty “Pathological physiology”. From 2012 to the present, he has held the position of Senior Scientific Researcher.
Research Interests
The main focus of Evgenia’s research is the study of the mechanisms of influence of plant and synthetic substances on the immune response in normal and pathological state, including studying intracellular signaling cascades and searching targets for pharmacological correction of various pathological conditions in order to further develop new drugs. Research materials of Evgenia Trofimova were presented at All-Russian and international scientific conferences. In addition to scientific activities, Evgenia Trofimova is working in the Laboratory of Immunopharmacology on the organization of research according to GLP standards. Evgenia is the author of 96 published works, including 1 monograph, has 12 patents.
Achievements, awards, and grants
In 2016, for her contribution to the development of scientific research, Evgenia was awarded a diploma of the Administration of Tomsk Region.
