Vita

Svetlana N. Vasilieva graduated with honors from the medical faculty of the Siberian Medical University with a degree in medical care. In 2003, she was accepted as a junior researcher at the Affective States Department of the Mental Health Research Institute of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. In 2007 she defended her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences “Clinical-dynamic features of depressive disorders in comorbidity with anxiety disorders”. In January 2008, she was transferred from the post of junior researcher to the post of researcher.

Area of scientific and clinical Interests

The problem of comorbidity of affective (depressive disorders, bipolar affective disorder) and anxiety disorders, questions of the chronological sequence of the formation of comorbidity of these disorders, their mutual influence and clinical-dynamic features.

Winner of the Tomsk Region Prize in the field of education, science, healthcare and culture (2008). She was awarded a diploma of the Presidium of the Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences (2008), a letter of thanks from the Administration of the city of Tomsk (2017)
